3rd annual Free Blues B-Q Festival

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer is inviting Orlando residents and visitors to join him for the 3rd annual Free Blues B-Q Festival at Orlando’s City Hall Plaza (400 S. Orange Avenue) on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Music lovers can enjoy an all day free Blues Festival featuring Grammy Award winning artists Jonny Lang, plus Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials and The Smokin’ Torpedoes. Barbeque lovers will be able to purchase food from some of their favorite local BBQ restaurants: Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, Porkie's Original BBQ, Uptown Cuisine Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ and Mike's BBQ.

Visitors who wear their Blues B-Q sticker* to select downtown locations will also enjoy special Blues B-Q specials, including a party with 96.5 WHTQ at rooftop Latitudes on Church Street for the official Blues B-Q after-party, where guests can enjoy $2.50 Miller Lites all night long, and enter for a chance to win signed memorabilia from the Blues B-Q artists.
