Orlando Home Show returns to Orange County Convention Center Sept. 18 – 20

The Orlando Home Show, one of the biggest conventions at the Orange County Convention Center, returns on September 18 – 20, 2009. For anyone who is considering buying a house or remodeling their home, the Orlando Home Show is the go-to place for design ideas, tools, the latest home improvement products, and special presentations obn how to do-it-yourself around the house.


The 2009 show has expanded with more diverse exhibits, more categories and more interactive presentations on the convention’s main stage. Hundreds of local vendors will be on hand to demonstrate their home improvement products, and there will be a live presentation featuring official spokesperson Ty Pennington on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Seating is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis.

Some of the Orlando area’s top chefs will do cooking demonstrations as part of the ScottJosephOrlando.com Cooking Stage. Scott Joseph is the former Orlando Sentinel food critic who now writes Scott Joseph’s Restaurant Guide. Featured chefs include Bruno Vrignon, Executive Chef, Les Chefs de France in Epcot; Bram Fowler, Chef, Journeys at Alaqua Country Club, Longwood; Gregory Richie, Chef de Cuisine, Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort; Scott Hunnell, Chef, Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; John Tan, Chef, Park Plaza Gardens, Winter Park and John Mooney, Chef, Highland Manor, Apopka.
