Walt Disney World will soon be recruiting moms (and dads) from across the country for their 2010 Walt Disney World Moms Panel, with applications being accepted after 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on September 10, 2009. Thousands will apply, and less than two dozen will be chosen to give their unique insight into where to go and what to see at the “happiest place on Earth.”Parents who serve on the Moms Panel do not receive a salary for serving their 12 month term, but they get a trip to Walt Disney World in return for their services answering online questions from other Disney World travelers. The panelists must complete at least 15 responses per week to the submitted questions. According to the Disney Web site, the panelists are selected “because they have demonstrated an excellent knowledge of Walt Disney World® Resort. Being familiar with the Parks, Resort hotels, dining and entertainment, shopping, and recreational activities, they can offer the help and tips you need to make your vacation planning a snap.”
