What's the easiest way to find a cheap car rental deal?
There are two basic first steps to finding a cheap car rental deal....
1. Compare rates with multiple companies.
The easiest way to do this, is to first go to a booking site where you can plug in your cities, dates, times, etc and compare mulitple car rental companies at a glance. You can also check the individual company website of the cheapest rental vendor, to see if they have any additional offers or specials that will give you an even lower rate. Check for coupons and try using a discount code if you qualify!
2. Book as far in advance as you can.
Last minute specials are possible, but very rare. Your best bet is to book in advance, but continue to check rates up until your rental pickup... that way if you find a cheaper rate, you can book it and just cancel your original reservation.
