Photography Festival to be Held in Orlando this May
Downtown Orlando will be overrun with the biggest names in photography as Snap! Orlando takes place May 20-23. The event is designed to inspire and galvanize art enthusiasts, from novices to seasoned collectors, around a shared passion for the photographic medium.
Spanning a dozen art galleries, cafés, boutiques, and pop-up exhibition spaces in the downtown area, Snap! will exhibit the visionary work of more than 30 artists, including master photographer Douglas Kirkland.Snap! Orlando is a program of The Lucie Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) that celebrates master photographers, discovers and cultivates emerging photographers, and promotes the appreciation of photography worldwide.
Events include performances by multimedia artists, VIP parties, fashion shows, photography workshops, public art projects, exhibitions and more. Supporters include the City of Orlando, United Arts of Central Florida and the Orlando/Orange County CVB. Snap!
