Needless to say, August means gelato. For some it is an important daily ritual. And the only question is... What flavor shall I try today?

These tempting gelato creations can be found at Gelateria Maddalena, a small gelato shop directly on the main road across from the imbarcadero. Maddalena was recently voted the best gelato shop in Stresa in a survey taken by il giornale Eco Risveglio.
