Renting a Van for Moving

I have retired and need to move a few household goods from Nebraska to South Carolina, so I think I will need a mini van. What do you suggest?


Your best bet is to check the price difference between renting a minivan or renting a cargo van, to see which is more cost effective. Minivans are generally very expensive.

You also need to be aware that the car rental companies will not allow the seats to be removed from a minivan, so you may also want to check to see if a large SUV would give you more room (but still checking to see if renting a cargo van (like from Budget Truck rental, UHaul, Ryder, etc) would be cheaper.
