Disney MGM Christmas

The Most Miserly Mom knows that it is only September 30th, but I can't help continuing to write about all of the events coming up for Christmas-time in Orlando. (This way it gets you excited to come visit our Sunshine State, Right???????)

Well, one super neat thing at Disney MGM Studios is the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. Basically this is a light display of over A MILLION CHRISTMAS LIGHTS! It all started from the actual Osborne family in Arkansas who had this incredible Christmas light display on their home (their 22,000 foot home!) But as their light display grew, the dismay of the Arkansas Supreme Court grew, and finally they were ordered to withdraw their lighted Christmas cheer.

So now, much to the delight of The Most Miserly Mom, and millions of Merry Tourists alike, the Osborne Spectacle of Lights is at Disney's MGM Studios for us at Christmas time. It is truly beautiful.

The display runs from November 13th through January 7th.
