Cancel Car Rental Insurance?

I bought the rental car insurance (LDW) and now I want to cancel it. It looks like I might need the car for a few more days than I had expected and I don't think that I need the insurance and I don't want to have to pay the fees for the extra days. Can I just call the car rental company and ask them to cancel the insurance?


You can't call in to cancel the insurance. You will have to take the rental car back to the rental location. They will have to inspect the vehicle and redo your paperwork, before you can continue the rental.
