What's the Age to Rent with Fox Rental Cars?
I'm 22 years old and I want to rent a car with Fox Rent a Car at LAX. Do they have the same age requirements as other companies and will they let me use my debit card? Thanks.
With Fox Rental Cars, the minimum age for renters and drivers is 21.
Renters and additional drivers under the age of 25 are subject to an underage charge of $20.00 per day.
Fox will only accept debit cards at time of oickup, when presented with the return flight segment of a round trip airline ticket. The return segment can be given in the form of the actual ticket or an electronic ticket. Your drivers license and the debit card must be in the same name. Your debit card must have available funds of $250.00 plus total estimated rental charges.
You should know that when using a debit card, any unused funds (extra money held on the card) will be returned through the card processor after you return your rental car. Depending on your bank, it can take up to 14 days to appear back on your account when you use a debit card.
