Finalmente la Primavera... Finally Spring!


Giancarlo Parazzoli is official photographer for the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi. Many of their promotional materials feature his gorgeous works. Here I share with you some photos he has just taken around the lake... as you can see, spring has truly and colorfully arrived.


 




And with spring it means the reopening of the tourist sites around Stresa. The Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens began letting guests enter on March 24. The Borromeo Palace, Isola Madre, and la Rocca di Angera all inaugurated the new season yesterday. And the Mottarone Cablecar, which had been closed during some of March for maintenance, is running again too. Stresa, like these flowers, has opened!
