SAS announces new route to Shanghai

This summer, SAS Scandinavian Airlines has announced that it will be expanding its long-haul operations by launching a new route to Shanghai via Copenhagen from Heathrow to complement the existing service to Beijing. In spring 2012, Scandinavian Airlines will launch a new route from Heathrow to Shanghai via Copenhagen. The new service will run five times a week and is scheduled to offer smooth connections from London to Shanghai, China. The new Shanghai route will be served by an Airbus A340-300, the largest aircraft in the SAS fleet, offering 245 seats with a choice of three classes:
Business, Economy Extra and Economy.
