Cheap Car Rental Rates from Florida
I've heard that you can get cheap one way rentals out of Florida, but when I search, I can't find any good rates. I'm looking to rent a car in Fort Lauderdale and return in California. How can I get the cheap Florida rates?
You may be thinking of the One way specials out of Florida that several car rental companies were advertising a month or so ago. National Car Rental was offering one-way rental car deals OUT of Florida to cities across the country; that deal expired July 18th.
Alamo, Avis and Budget offered a similar one way special out of Florida, but those deals expired at the end of June.
One way specials tend to go in the same cycle each year -- in the late summer, early fall, the rental car companies offer one way specials to move their fleets from busy summer vacation spots in the north, down to florida.
