Did I get the Best Car Rental Rate?

I recently rented a Kia ION for a three day weekend rate of 153.00 with a 300.00 deeposite refundable apon return of the vehicle. Could I have gotten a lower rate/better deal?

I sure wish there was a way to find out!

Car rental rates can vary by company, city, location, car size, dates, etc. Even if I knew what city you rented in, what location you rented from, what discount code (if any) you used and what company you rented from, it's impossible to go back and check prices for dates that have already passed.

I wish I could answer your question, but all I can tell you is that the next time you rent a car

1. Compare multiple companies
2. Check for discount codes, coupons and specials
3. Compare rates from booking sites (travelocity, kayak, Orbitz, Priceline, Hotwire, etc.) as well as rates from the rental car company websites directly.
4.Book as far in advance as you can, and continue to check back, if possible to see if the rates go down closer to the rental day... if so.. rebook! :)

If you do these things you can be confident that you have probably gotten the best deal available!

Hope this helps
