All Walt Disney Characters

All Walt Disney characters have a place at Walt Disney World, although the characters you may find depend on the overall theme of the park. All Walt Disney Characters are well-represented in Walt Disney World gift shops, especially at places like The Emporium at Magic Kingdom or the 12-room World of Disney store in Downtown Disney’s Marketplace, which is the largest Disney character store in the Walt Disney World Resort—and on Earth. World of Disney is the best spot to find all Walt Disney characters in various forms of Men's, women's and kids' apparel, Disney character merchandise, collectibles, arts and crafts, plush toys, trading pins, watches, and much more.

For character greetings, the best place to find them is at Magic Kingdom. This is where you will find the most Disney Princesses—plus the Disney Fairies, Mickey & Minnie, Toy Story’s Woody & Buzz, and many more Walt Disney characters. Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, the newest Disney Princess, is currently in a parade at Liberty Square with a meet and greet behind the Liberty Tree Tavern. And of course, there is always the Cinderella Castle for character dining. Disney character dining with the Winnie the Pooh characters can be found at the Crystal Palace.

Dining with the Disney Princesses is also available at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot at the Norway pavilion of the World Showcase. In the Future World area of Epcot, visitors can explore The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Other than those attractions, there are not as many Disney characters at Epcot (unless you count Figment, who does have his own character meet and greet).

At Animal Kingdom, the Tusker House offers Donald’s Safari Breakfast and all of the characters from The Lion King are well represented in The Festival of the Lion King live performances. The Camp Minnie-Mickey greeting trails include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and other Walt Disney characters. Lesser known characters like Jiminy Cricket and Pocahontas can also be spotted for character meet and greets at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the go-to place for Pixar characters at the Block Party Parade, the Little Einstein characters from Playhouse Disney Live, plus live performances based on The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. This is also the hot spot for non-animated Disney characters like the cast of High School Musical.

At Walt Disney World, it’s all about the characters, and no matter where you go, you are sure to find them, whether it is at a character meet and greet, dining experience, or purchasing a souvenir at one of the many gift shops.
