Lismore Environmental Living

AppId is over the quota

Lismore is a peaceful city that is counted under larger ones in Australia. Since the population density is low and houses are built in scattered way, the city appears to be larger and more spacious than it actually is. Public transport in Lismore is found at its minimal because of this less dense residential area and thus use of automobile as a transport serves as the primary means in the city. Talking about Lismore environmental living, the pollution level in the city is reported to be satisfactory every year which is contributed by the fact that has been mentioned about the transport in Lismore.

Majority of the plant species found in Lismore are non-native, that is, do not originally belong to the Australian continent and most of those are from European-origin. The number of younger trees in Lismore is quite less and this is because of the fact that in forests of many suburban areas there is no regular burning process and thus, the trees do not regenerate for long periods of time. This not only results in lack of new trees but also in their undergrowth in such areas. However, in recent years, there has been taken a step by the Ministry of Environment in this direction which involves regular burning in some of the devoid areas thus making Lismore environmental living somewhat better than before.

Urban areas of Lismore include various national parks like Nepean National Park, The Cape Marine Port and Peninsula National Park. Ranging to the eastern area is the National Park Dandenong and towards North, is the National Park Pipe. In the outer areas of the city there are located many state parks as well. Environmental pollution regulation responsibility is offered regularly thus maintaining a healthy Lismore environmental living for the people residing in. However, not all the seasons are ideal from a tourist's point of view as the weather is not at all pleasant during falls and summers because of the extremely foggy environment.

Despite of the above mentioned fact, Lismore weather has always been a subject of curiosity for its variability. The reason for this variation is the topography of Lismore that has been studied to be flat. The city is located on the border of Port Phillip Bay and the Dandenong that is ranging towards the eastern side, in conjunction, causes creation of such varying weather surrounding the bay. This curiosity fetches many visitors into the city every year thus making it a popular traveling destination as well.
