Long Term Car Rental Option

Is long term car rental an option for someone who has filed bankruptcy in the last 3 yrs and does not have good credit?

You would need a credit card in your own name to rent a car for a long term rental. What you would probably want to look at is if the car rental company that you're looking at wants to charge you for the whole amount of the long term rental up front, when you pick up the car... or will they be billing the credit card each month. Car rental companies differ in their policies and it can even depend on the length of the rental or the car type.

You can try searching for long term car rental terms and conditions or policies on various car rental company websites... if you are not able to find the information on the site, don't hesitate to contact a reservation agent through that particular car rental companies toll free number.. they'd be able to find out the policy for you.
