Walt Disney World Introduces Disney Fairies

Tinker Bell will be getting some help spreading her pixie dust from now on—Walt Disney World recently introduced the Disney Fairies in a new Magic Kingdom attraction on October 24. The walk-through attraction Pixie Hollow will be located in the Mickey's Toontown area of the park, and will feature four new fairies to the Disney franchise: Iridessa, Rosetta, Silvermist and Fawn.

Tinker Bell and the new Disney Fairy characters will be featured in a straight-to-DVD animated feature, Tinker Bell (which was released on October 28) and in the gift shops throughout Walt Disney World in the form of plush dolls and other merchandise (the Disney princesses are still well represented throughout Walt Disney World). And of course, “Tink” will still be flying around Magic Kingdom's iconic Peter Pan ride.
