According Newest Survey--India Forests Cover has Declined Area

AppId is over the quota

India's forests cover (area) has lost about 368 square kilometers between 2007 and 2009. However this data may not appear as alarming because India has increased in the terms of national parks, wildlife sanctuaries and fauna and flora during this period, it is said by many organizations of forest's protection and a forestation. These organizations give many examples are like our country has increased about 295 tigers between 2007 and 2010. The Dehradun report of 2011 based on forest survey of the India; it has been submitted to ministry of forests and environment. This report will be released soon, said by ministry of forests and environment on the 7th January 2011. India has got seventh rank in the world in terms of area; however it has got first rank in terms of wildlife, thus India wildlife tour is very fantabulous and memorable in the globe.
The news for wildlife lovers and forest societies are not hopeful. Central government has been continuously claiming the rising of the forest areas, although there has been no change in the forest areas.
Maximum 190 square kilometers forest areas have declined from insurgency hit state of Manipur. The second position in this term has been taken by Nagaland. Nagaland has reduced 146 sq km between 2006 and 2009. Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh are included in this topic, according to the Dehradun report. Although good news is get from Rajasthan, Punjab, Tamilnadu and Jharkhand.

In the 2009, report of FSI showed forest areas in northeast had improved from 1,69,825 square kilometers in the 2005 to 1,70,423 square kilometers in the2007- a yearly increase of 299 sq KM and 598 sq KM increase in the two years (between 2005 and 2007). Disastrously, we have lost this increase between 2007 and 2009; it is clear by Dehradun report 2011. Sharp change in the forest areas, the main reasons are Jhum cultivation, said by retired forest officer. Jhum cultivation is doing by the local people and tribal on the forests region. There are other threats of union of the wood smugglers and mafia. Indian forests and fauna and flora (wildlife) mainly throw away by the poachers, wood smugglers dereliction by governments and Indian people.
Although 100 square kilometers forests areas have increased in the Punjab state of India because they are pushing cultivation and forestry activities by the Punjab government. This data is provided by new survey of FSI. FSI report said that while slight rise in the Haryana, here about 14 square kilometers forest cover increased and 11 square kilometers increase in the Himachal Pradesh. We are hoping forests area will be more in Haryana in the next FSI report in 2013 because we get the positive impact of the Supreme Court ban on the mining in Aravallis.
