Manatee Goes Home For The Holidays A team of SeaWorld animal care specialists and veterinarians released an adult female manatee, Penny, into the Banana River in Brevard County today. The 8-foot long, 760 pound sea cow was rescued this summer from Titusville after a probable boat strike. She spent more than five months under the watchful care of SeaWorld animal care specialists, who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
