However there are many tourist destination to visit in India but I am going to discuss about top tourist destination in India.
Delhi- Delhi is the capital city of India and heart of India which is a famous for many tourist destinations. There are many most popular tourist places in Delhi named Red Fort, India Gate, Chandni Chowk, Raj ghat, Jama Masjid, Lotus temple, Qutabminar and many more. Travelers come here from all over the world.
Ooty- Ooty is most popular hill resort in the state of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. It is known as queen of hills. It is situated at the altitude of 2240 meter above sea level and which is deep within the Nilgiri hills. The Nilgiri is famous for tea. There are many interesting places in Ooty such as Botanical Gardens, Lakes, boat houses, Waterfalls Shopping spots, Tea estates and many more. Tourist visited here any time but the best time to visit here Feb to May and or Sep to Nov.
Shimla- Shimla is the capital city of state Himachal Pradesh and also known as hill queen. In 1864 Shimal was declared summer capital of British raj in India. Shimla is a major travel hill station and famous holiday spot for honeymoon. Shimal is surrounded by pine and deodar forests. Shimla is a good place for buy woolen product and paradise for those who love sking skating. Shimla has many tourist spot and pilgrim places such as the Viceregal Lodge, The Mall, Chadwick Falls, Sanjauli, Glen, Jakhoo Hill and Daranghati Sanctuary s, Jakhu Temple, Tara Devi Temple and Sankat Mochan Temple etc.
Goa- Goa is India's second smallest state by area and fourth smallest state by population located in south west region of India. Goa is one of the top tourist destinations in India. Goa is a paradise and a perfect place to spend the best holidays. Goa has many popular tourist attractions like Panaji, Old Goa, Margaon and some famous forts of Goa.
Jaipur- Jaipur is also known as pink city of Rajasthan state and most wonderful tourist destination in India. It is the capital city of Rajasthan state and well connected with the other cities of India. There are many havelis and forts in Jaipur such as Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mnatar, Amer Fort, Ram Bagh Palace, Nahargarh Fort are the most visited destination of Jaipur.
