Car Rental Price Quotes
Why, when I'm checking prices on Avis.com does it give me a rate quote that says approximate total. I want to know the whole price, inlcuding everything. Is there a way to check that?
The reservation quotes often say approximate total or estimated total because the quote is based on the information that you've given to get the rate quote. An approximated total inlcuding taxes and surcharges is only accurate for the dates, times, city, car class, etc that you've provided. Basically, it's the websites way of stating that any changes to any part of the reservation (return time, purchasing optional coverages, changing the pick up date, etc) may (and probably will) cause changes to your rate quote.
