Celebration’s 4th of July festivities features Magic’s ‘lucky charm’

The city of Celebration, Florida—just minutes away from the gates of Walt Disney World—is promising a Flashback 4th of July with a Tribute to the 70s, plus a special guest performer who wowed audiences at the Magic home games during the NBA Finals: Gina Marie Incandela, the little girl who sang the national anthem at the Amway Arena.

The evening’s events begin at 5:00 p.m. on July 4, 2009. Incandela will sing the National Anthem at 6:00 p.m., followed by a concert by The Reflections Band. Incandela will perform once more at 9:00 p.m., and the festivities conclude with a 70s themed fireworks show starting around 9:30 p.m.

The Celebration Town Center’s KidZone will also feature an assortment of inflatable games for kids and teens that will include a jousting area, interactive games, face painting and more. The Radio Disney Road Crew will also be on hand with contests and prizes. Visitors are invited to wear their finest 70s “threads” for a 70s costume contest at 7:30 p.m.

Free park and ride shuttle service is available for this very popular event. For more information, visit the City of Celebration Web site.
