Train
Only one train line remains in regular use today, the Island Line. It is part of the UK's National Rail Company. The train service in the Isle of Wight runs for just under 14 kilometres from Ryde to Shanklin. It used to be a total of more than 88 kilometres operated by the Isle of Wight Railway in 1864 to 1996 and the Island Line Trains from 1996 to 2007. Another train service runs for 5.5 miles branching off from the Island Line at Smallbrook Junction up to the outskirts of Wootton. The train service allows you to just sit down and relax while you enjoy the picturesque views that you pass by. Train stations are easily accessible from the popular Isle of Wight holiday cottages.
Bicycle
