Even though Kenya is situated on the Equator, safaris generally take place near coastal, low altitude regions. During the day average temperatures will mean the weather will be warm to hot and therefore t-shirts and shorts made out of light, breathable fabrics will be ideal to keep comfortable. Sun hats, sunglasses and sun screen are recommended to be worn whilst out on your Kenya safari. Overnight, however, can be a different story and temperatures can plummet depending on the time of year. It is also worth packing warmer clothing to keep you snug on the early game expeditions. Other essential items to pack for your Kenya Safari include safari boots, a hat, jacket and warm pyjamas.
