Wicked Waterpark
For a fun packed family day out, go to Aqualand El Arenal in South Majorca. Check out the new "Harakiri" slides; twin slides which are descended on top of a double tube, making it perfect for sharing with the little ones. If you like the feeling of freefalling, "Banzai" is the ride for you, as the slide takes you down to the water with a practically vertical drop. Fly out of a huge snake's mouth on "Anaconda", slide through a tunnel of darkness on "Black Hole", and zoom down "Kamikaze". If you want a break from the thrills of these attractions, take a gentle, refreshing trip down "Congo River". There is even a "Mini Park" for the little kids.

Cavern of the Dragon
Enter the spellbinding Caves of Drach, in the east part of Majorca. Lake Martel flows through the outstanding cavern and is considered to be one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world, at 177 metres long by 30 metres wide. A 10 minute concert is performed for the guests, comprising of 4 pieces of classical music by Caballero, Martini, Chopin and Offenbach. The concert is performed by a quartet of 2 violins, a cello and harmonium and has been a feature since 1935.

Marvellous Markets
Why not mosey around the array of delights offered in a Majorcan market? Inca Market, for example, is one of the more popular markets. Inca is Majorca's third biggest town and is also known as the "City of Leather". Inca's market takes place every Thursday, when you can buy leather handbags with decorative stitching, vibrant patterned shawls and colourful woven baskets. It is the ideal place for souvenirs.

Bellver Castle
The 14th century castle, built for the royal court of King James II of Aragon, is an intriguing circular shape. It was used as a military prison between the 18th and 20th centuries. The museum located inside the castle contains local archaeological artefacts dating back around 3,000 years, as well as fascinating Roman sculptures and art.

Wetland Birds Natural Park
The S'Albufera Natural Park has a captivating variety of wetland-dwelling birds, such as the delicate "Moustached Warbler" and the more dashing "Purple Gallinule". Have some binoculars at the ready as you amble around the lake, marshes, canals, woods and trails of this peaceful park.

Golf Fantasia
In Palma Nova, there is a great mini golf attraction, which has 3 different 18 hole mini golf courses, which will keep the whole family occupied for hours! Waterfalls, caves and lakes create a tranquil backdrop, while cafes and cocktail areas are dotted around.
